Editorial policy
How The Korea Now is made, in plain terms. We use AI to draft and a human editor to decide.
01AI drafts, a human decides
Software collects Korean-language sources every morning and drafts the brief with Google Gemini. Nothing is published until the editor has reviewed it. Items the editor removes never appear.
02Sources, always
Every brief item and every guide figure links to its source. We prefer official sources (government, city, transit operators) and major news agencies, and we exclude unofficial visa agencies and content farms. We summarize in our own words and never reproduce articles.
03Verification
Before publication, cited pages are opened and checked against the facts attributed to them. Published guides are re-verified weekly; when a number or rule changes, the guide is updated and the change is noted.
04Dates on everything
Fares, prices and rules show the date they were last verified. If we could not verify something, we say so on the page rather than guess.
05Localization
Japanese and Spanish editions are rewritten from the reviewed English text for those readers. Facts and sources are identical across editions; comparisons and currency are not.
06Corrections
If you spot an error, write to help@codecrayon.me. Confirmed errors are fixed in all editions and the correction is logged on the page.
07Independence
We do not accept payment for coverage. Any future advertising or affiliate links will be labeled as such and will never influence what the brief covers.
