Now in its 26th edition, the Seoul International Performing Arts Festival (SPAF) presents 20 contemporary works across Seoul under the theme 'Multiverse of Art.' The festival features collaborations with France's Festival d'Avignon alongside seven international invitational productions, contemporary dance, and experimental theater. Venues span the city, including the National Theater of Korea and prominent Daehakro theater spaces.

2026 Seoul Light Hangang Bitseom Festival is Korea's largest waterfront laser art festival, themed 'Rhapsody of Light' along the Hangang River. The outdoor grounds of Nodeul Island display massive laser installations and projection mapping alongside light promenades on connecting bridges. Indoor spaces host kinetic art, video installations, and audiovisual performances combining nature and light.

French screen star Isabelle Huppert and veteran Korean actress Lee Hye-young take the stage together for this reading play adaptation of Nobel laureate Han Kang's novel 'We Do Not Part.' Directed by Julie Deliquet, the performance adapts the novel's opening chapter focusing on the friendship between characters In-seon and Gyeong-ha. Author Han Kang also joins the stage to read concluding passages related to the Jeju April 3 Incident.
