· Reviewed by the editor
The Korea Meteorological Administration expects passing showers of 5 to 20 mm across inland regions including southern Gyeonggi, inland Gangwon, Chungcheong, and inland Gyeongsang on Sunday afternoon and evening, accompanied by localized gusty winds and lightning. Inland areas face wide daily temperature gaps exceeding 10 to 15 degrees Celsius. Following the showers, colder air will sweep down nationwide next week, dropping morning lows down to around 4 degrees Celsius.
So what
Carry a compact umbrella if traveling across central inland South Korea this Sunday, and pack heavier layers for morning commutes starting Monday.
