Director Bong Joon-ho's debut feature-length animated film, 'ALLY', has been slated for domestic theatrical release in July 2027, with a simultaneous French premiere set for July 14, 2027. Produced by Barunson C&C with creative contributors across 12 countries, the story follows a deep-sea squid named Ally whose peaceful underwater world is disrupted when an unidentified aircraft crashes into the ocean abyss. North American theatrical distribution plans are also currently being arranged.
