Daegu police arrested a suspect for illegally purchasing 1,366 professional baseball tickets using automated macro software and reselling them for roughly 45 million KRW (~$32,100). The scalper resold tickets originally priced at 18,000 KRW (~$13) for as much as 240,000 KRW (~$171) on online resale sites. Authorities reaffirmed strict crackdowns on illegal ticket resales during the ongoing KBO postseason games and major concert tours.
