The Seoul metropolitan transit system enables passengers to transfer between subways and city buses without paying a duplicate base fare. Commuters must tap their card upon exiting and board the next transit service within 30 minutes, or within 60 minutes during nighttime hours between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
