Seoul Keeps Unlimited Short-Term Subway Passes for Tourists

· Reviewed by the editor

The Seoul Metropolitan Government provides short-term Climate Cards designed for visitors, offering 1-day (5,000 KRW), 2-day (8,000 KRW), 3-day (10,000 KRW), 5-day (15,000 KRW), and 7-day (20,000 KRW) options. These passes grant unlimited rides on Seoul subway lines and municipal buses, including drop-offs at Incheon International Airport stations. While domestic long-term commuter cards are integrated into nationwide transit schemes, short-term unlimited passes remain active for foreign travelers.

So what

Purchase a multi-day Climate Card at station customer centers or tourist information booths if you plan to use the subway or buses at least four times a day.
